Software Engineer III - Microsoft Business Applications

Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, support, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications, including Customer Engagement (CRM), Finance & Operations (F&O), Project Operations, and the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve business processes and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Finance & Operations, and Project Operations.
• Build and enhance applications using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 native capabilities.
• Develop integrations using APIs, Power Automate, Azure services, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Customize and extend Dynamics applications through plugins, workflows, JavaScript, Power Apps, and low-code/no-code capabilities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and application lifecycle management activities.
• Contribute to system design discussions and promote best practices related to security, performance, and maintainability.
• Support upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing platform optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse data modeling and application development.
• Experience supporting or developing solutions in one or more of the following:
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM)
  • Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
  • Dynamics 365 Project Operations
• Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Experience building integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Integration Services.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 security roles, business processes, and data management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise ERP, CRM, or customer-facing business applications.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This position may require working the evening shift (5pm to 2am) and will vary based on certain times of the year to support a new client.
