Enterprise Governance & CoE Enablement

About the Role

We are seeking a Power Platform Administrator to lead the day-to-day administration, governance implementation, and operational health of our enterprise Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

This role is responsible for managing platform environments, application lifecycle management (ALM), data protection policies, licensing, and operational monitoring while helping establish and mature our Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).

The ideal candidate combines deep technical administration experience with a governance and enablement mindset. They will partner with CoE leadership, enterprise architecture, security, QA, and delivery teams to operationalize platform standards, improve reliability, and enable business users to build solutions within a secure, scalable, and well-governed environment.

What You'll Do

Platform Administration & Operations

• Administer and maintain enterprise Power Platform environments, including provisioning, configuration, security, access management, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor platform capacity, licensing, usage, environment health, and operational performance; proactively identify and address risks.
• Manage environment configurations, security roles, connection references, service accounts, and related administrative controls.
• Establish operational monitoring, incident response procedures, support escalation processes, and platform administration runbooks.
• Automate administrative activities and reporting using Power Platform administrative tools, PowerShell, and other supported capabilities

Governance & Application Lifecycle Management

• Partner with CoE leadership, enterprise architecture, and security to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise Power Platform governance standards.
• Define and administer environment strategies, including development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP), connector, security, and access policies in alignment with enterprise requirements.
• Operationalize ALM standards, including solution management, environment variables, connection references, source control integration, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Implement governance controls and deployment procedures that support consistent, secure, and auditable solution promotion.
• Partner with QA CoE and delivery leadership to integrate platform governance requirements into release readiness and deployment processes.
• Monitor Microsoft Power Platform updates and release waves to assess operational impact and recommend changes to platform standards.

Center of Excellence Enablement

• Partner with CoE leadership to establish, document, and continuously improve platform governance standards, operating procedures, and enablement practices.
• Develop and maintain onboarding processes, governance guidance, development standards, reusable templates, and self-service resources for platform users.
• Provide technical guidance and support to professional developers, citizen developers, and delivery teams on platform capabilities and approved practices.
• Facilitate platform office hours, knowledge-sharing sessions, and other enablement activities to promote adoption of CoE standards.
• Establish reporting and metrics to measure platform adoption, governance compliance, environment utilization, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to reduce administrative overhead, standardize platform practices, and improve the developer experience.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining enterprise Power Platform governance frameworks and supporting a Center of Excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform environments, security models, Managed Environments, DLP policies, connector governance, and licensing.
• Hands-on experience implementing ALM practices, including managed solutions, deployment pipelines, environment variables, connection references, and source control integration.
• Experience using the Power Platform admin center, administrative PowerShell capabilities, and platform monitoring and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, service principals, authentication, and identity management as they relate to Power Platform.
• Experience with operational troubleshooting, capacity management, environment lifecycle management, and production support.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical processes, documentation, and guidance for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across teams without direct authority.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience supporting Dynamics 365 or ERP-integrated Power Platform solutions.
• Experience working in a SAFe or other Agile delivery framework.
• Experience facilitating communities of practice, platform office hours, or citizen-developer enablement programs.
• Relevant Microsoft technical certifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This position may require working the evening shift (5pm to 2am) and will vary based on certain times of the year to support a new client.
